GB Foods Academy is the digital learning and development platform of GB Foods, a multi-local food company celebrating local flavours across more than 30 brands and 50+ countries. The Academy exists to build the knowledge, skills, and professional standards behind every safe, authentic product we bring to families' kitchens — grounded in our values of Authenticity, Proximity, Ownership, and Joy.
By creating an account, enrolling in a course, booking a tutoring session, or otherwise using the platform, you confirm that you accept these Terms and Conditions and agree to abide by them. These terms apply to all visitors, registered learners, tutors, instructors, and organizations using the platform.
Access to the Academy is provided to GB Foods employees, partner organizations, students, and other individuals authorized to use the platform. You must register for an account and provide accurate, current information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details and for all activity that occurs under your account. Accounts are personal and must not be shared. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.
The platform is provided for learning, professional development, and tutoring purposes. You agree to use it only for lawful purposes, in line with GB Foods' Code of Conduct, and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict use by, others. You may not misuse the platform, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or interfere with its security or functionality.
Once enrolled, you are granted a personal, non-transferable right to access course materials for your own learning. Access may be subject to completion timelines, prerequisites, or other conditions specified for each course. GB Foods Academy may update, revise, or retire course content at any time.
GB Foods Academy connects learners with tutors through the Tutor Finder for one-on-one tutoring and assignment assistance. Paid tutoring sessions are subject to the fees, cancellation terms, and scheduling rules published at the time of booking. Tutors registered on the platform must maintain accurate profiles and deliver sessions in good faith. GB Foods Academy facilitates the connection between learners and tutors but is not a party to, and does not guarantee the outcome of, any individual tutoring engagement.
Training materials on this platform are provided for learning and guidance purposes. They do not amend, replace, or override any official GB Foods policy, procedure, or directive. Where any course content conflicts with an official company policy, the official policy prevails. Employees must always rely on current approved company documents when carrying out their official duties.
The GB Foods Academy Reward System allows learners to earn points through eligible activities such as enrolling in and completing courses, providing feedback, and referring others. Points carry no cash value, are non-transferable, confer no financial entitlement, and may be redeemed only for the non-monetary recognition and access benefits published on the platform. GB Foods Academy may amend the reward terms from time to time.
All content on the platform, including courses, text, graphics, videos, logos, and assessments, is the property of GB Foods or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any content without prior written permission.
You agree not to upload or share unlawful, offensive, or misleading content, disclose confidential company or colleague information, impersonate others, or engage in any activity that disrupts the learning environment or community. GB Foods Academy reserves the right to remove content or restrict accounts that breach these standards.
Certificates issued upon course completion confirm participation and the satisfaction of the relevant assessment criteria. They evidence completion of internal training only and do not constitute a professional licence, accreditation, or external qualification unless expressly stated. Certificates remain the property of GB Foods Academy and must not be altered or misrepresented.
The platform may include third-party content or links to external sites. We are not responsible for the accuracy, content, or practices of any third-party resources and provide them for convenience only.
The platform and its content are provided on an as-is basis. While we strive for accuracy and reliability, we do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, GB Foods shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the platform.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the platform, without notice, if you breach these Terms and Conditions or engage in conduct that may harm the platform, its users, or GB Foods.
Your use of the platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and process your personal data in accordance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act, 2023, and other applicable data protection laws.
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes take effect once posted on the platform with a revised effective date. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Nigerian courts.
